By yourself.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s why you need a good community to plug into. Here are some resources to help you on your journey:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Try starting your own artist group with people you know, either in person or online. <\/li><li>Join an existing group on Facebook, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.learnwithsfc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Learn with Steph Fizer Coleman<\/a>, or join a Challenge like <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.12x12challenge.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">12X12.<\/a><\/li><li>Sign up for online workshops or conferences with organizations like the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scbwi.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">SCBWI<\/a> or <\/li><li>Stay up to date with what&#8217;s going in children&#8217;s publishing with<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kidlit411.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> KidLit 411.<\/a><\/li><li>Take some classes on <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.21-draw.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">21 Draw<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.svslearn.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">SVS Learn<\/a>, or from one of the best in animation: <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/creatureartteacher.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Aaron Blaise<\/a>. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Staying connected is essential to your flourishing, not only as an artist, but as a human being.                 So, go be awesome and make some connections! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Action Item<\/p><cite>Think about your current project.
